The Royals had about 372 different starters that year. You left out Darrell May, who actually had a decent year. Affeldt began the year as a starter. Remember Kevin Appier came on board late and shut down the Yankees before drifting off into retirement.

I almost forgot Chris George too. I remember him somehow having an awful ERA and a winning record. I'm not sure if Jimmy Gobble had come up yet or not. I'm pretty sure he pitched on that team though.
