I'm gonna guess it's an urban vs. rural thing. In Denver, we're still a year or so from same day, but 2 day is pretty reliable. My parents are in a small Kansas town, and it's much more iffy.

We got hit with our yearly $100 fee last week. We don't use it near as much due to Oklahoma and Amazon charging taxes now.
I mainly buy books from Amazon. Rarely do I buy it using prime. It's usually cheaper to buy used even with a $4 shipping fee from a seller on Amazon. |

The pantry is an area I've not used. Every time I'm tempted it just doesn't seem to be the deal I would have hoped. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I haven't been able to make that work either. I think of grocery shopping completely differently than non-grocery shopping.

I use the pantry for things I might drive all over town for and never find. Got some pink curing salt.

Use it all the time, and occasionally watch the included TV.
Watched the entire series of The Wire because of Amazon Prime. That was fun. Even bought a Nikon scope off Amazon Prime. It was priced best and with 2-day shipping, it was a quick turnaround to get it put together. Also great for near-last minute shopping. |
