The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

When you are playing NTN at El Chico, you are severly lacking for bars in Texarkana.

Not even close to what Runza serves. Must have been to the one in Lawrence.

There's actually a place in Nevada, MO that comes pretty close to authentic. They've got some Tex-Mex items mixed in, but they have some stuff that's pretty close to the real deal. (And unlike El Chico, they have kick-ass queso.)

The ones in Omaha are the only ones I have been to. Might have been cabbage rather than spinach in them I am remembering. Filled sandwich is a better description than stuffed as I referred to them as. Kind of want one now.

Bob Dole isn't even sure they still have it.

At one time, we had 4 locations, but at least 2 of them have pulled it because people got tired of being humiliated by Bob Dole's mad trivia skillz and quit playing. A bunch of us used to play at El Chico on Tuesday nights, but Bob Dole stopped going when Gov. Huckleberry banned smoking in AR.

Cabbage is what Runza serves in their "sandwiches"

It was one of the few competitive advantages those poor Arkies had and the dictator erased it.

You can still smoke in bars that are 21+, but if you allow anyone under 21 to set foot in the business, it's forbidden. TX side has no exceptions. (Which sucks, because there's one place with a shitload of potential if it wasn't for the whole go-outside-to-smoke thing.)

The stoopid Nazis are trying to pass that shit up here. Several towns have passed it including; Blue Springs, Independence, Lees Summit. Its got me worried because I used to think that KCMO and Raytown wouldn't ever pass it. But I also used to think that Independence wouldn't pass it.

I really didn't think it would pass here too but the whole state is non-smoking at bars now. Definitely helped out the places that had heated patios.

It's kind of disheartening.

Bob Dole knew about the Lee's Summit ban because that phuqtard Phobia picked a restaurant there for a Chiefsplanet get-together last summer.

This is how Bob Dole looks when Bob Dole is drinking beer and is denied nicotine.
