The website cites Lawrence’s music scene and Esquire Magazine’s inclusion of The Replay Lounge among the nation’s top 25 bars and venues. It also mentions Lawrence’s proximity to Topeka and Kansas City and its key employers.

The nearest other college town to make the list was Manhattan. The home to Kansas State University ranks No. 26. The website notes Manhattan’s hopping bar and restaurant scene and its proximity to Fort Riley.

Columbia, home to the University of Missouri, did not make the list.

That's sad. it's really going to put a damper on my favorite thing to do on Saturdays in the fall, watching turnstiles. I mean, I watch those people come in, and plug the numbers into my calculator till kickoff. Then I spend the rest of the game in the team store watching all that merch fly off the shelves, and just celebrate the magnificence and glory that is the monetary worth of the team.
If I have time, I then go count cars in the parking lots, and imagine all that shiny cash.

Oh, yeah, the football team may be winning the vast majority of their games, but who cares. I'd much rather concern myself with what's important... the money.
