the Royals are so good people are ACTUALLY bitching about our 3rd base coach sending a guy in a 6 run game (at the time) ... and then making statements like, "he's going to cost us a game in the postseason!"

Just outrageous commentary.

Take the dumbass quotes out of it, take the dumbasses who think Gordon could have scored last year out of it and recognize a god awful send. It's not his first god awful send this year, and he has made some worse holds.

I don't think that happens IRL. It was a **** it call. Detroit should be mildly pissed actually.

here's how I see our postseason roster shaking out:

Cueto/Ventura/Volquez/Medlen
Duffy
Holland/Davis/Herrera/Hochever/Madson/Morales

Perez/Butera
Hos/Morales
Zobrist
Esky/Colon
Moose
Gordon/Cain/Dyson/Gomes/Orlando/Gore

I think Orlando has deserved the RF position in postseason play. He has been nothing but clutch all year and provides good defense at the position. He platoons with Gomes while Dyson plays the part of PR/7th inning CF while Cain shifts to RF with Gore being our other PR specialist and Colon being our utility infielder.

I could also see Cuthbert beating out Colon since if something happens to Esky/Zobrist/Moose we can replace them on the roster with Colon and I think Cuthbert provides a better bat than Colon does.

hell, Jurschele already cost us a postseason game according to a few in this thread. Good Lord.
Seriously, WTF does that mean? We got a couple runs, we're winning, so **** it...here's an out?

FFS, for someone bitching about baseball IQs and such, it's a pretty ****ing stupid thing to say. ****-ups while you're winning don't matter...

There is with zero outs and the ball basically on the infield. Never criticize someone else's IQ if you are going to go full reerun.

Heh, I just found out from his sister on FB that my buddy was sitting behind home plate in the BATS seats all game. I didn't even notice him. He works for them and use those seats 1-2 games/year. They're pretty sweet.
