That's clearly false, and you'd be reeruned to argue that Jordan or Kobe had it worse for ANY of their NBA championships.

I'm not anointing Lebron over Jordan. I'm saying he shut his haters the ****ing hell up. It's an historical thing he accomplished in this series.
idk why you are "attacking" me, i have no quarrel with you or lebron fans. I can see why people were saying that entering the playoffs.. even say during GS - HOU series. I personally thought the cavs had a great chance to seal victory after GS showed some weakness vs POR of all teams and by all means should have been elminated vs OKC *thats if Durant and Westbrook didn't blow their shot* Kyrie has shakey defense but he has top 3 handles in the league and a great scorer from the 1 position.

I did not expect for Jefferson to outplay a triple digit max paid player in Love.. or smith to have the offseason he had. I did expect Tristian Thompson, Irving, James, even deladova have a strong playoff push. Lebron is an all time great, and i respect his game. It takes a very talented team to win a ring.

It's the complete opposite. There are more stars than EVER. Pull your head out of your ass

I think lebron has three more years left of being imposing and then he will be second fiddle, he doesn't have the all around game like a jordan or kobe. I could be wrong. Imagine Lebron playing in college.. oh man.

I haven't been reading the thread. Has there been any conversation about what would have happened if Kyrie wasn't injured last year? What's the consensus?

there are more stars.. less superstars.

i loved watching kobe go against A.I, Paul Pierce, McGrady, Artest, Wade, Arenas, Ginobili, etc.. all time greats.. i'm hoping hometown hero Paul George will continue to evolve his game.

I think you could argue it both ways. Spurs wouldn't be near as good without Poppovich. But it really matters very little what coach the Cavs or OKC have. But if you are a coach at Kentucky, UNC, Duke, KU etc...it's not really a difficult job. You already have the upperhand in recruiting, and while you still need to be a good coach, I think poor coaches could get by for a while at those jobs. But then you had some mid major coaches that are so good that they completely change a schools history.

A few interesting things happened as the series went on. All were about Cleveland finding themselves in just the nick of time.

LeBron stopped trying to make teammates happy. He decided to take over even if that meant a superstar like Kevin Love didn't get many great looks. I can't believe lebron could have surpassed last year's heroic performance. But he did.

Tristan, I think, was tinkering with what shooting hand to use on free throws. He put together his best free throw shooting in game 7. LeBron also shot surprisingly excellent from the ft line

Lue found himself at just the right time. Terrific rotations toward the end. Ballsy, ballsy moves to tinker with love out of the starting lineup, to use lots of small lineups with Jefferson, and to sit Frye and Delly (even if that meant... Gasp... Minutes for MO Williams). Also, although I was frustrated by the amount of iso, excellent move to slow the game down. Though I think that last one was more on coach lebron.

Love at just the right game found a role he will probably never want to play again. The "**** it, I'm not going to shoot 3s" guy. He was a beast on the offensive boards. Huge reason for the game 7 win.

Love getting less touches also let Kyrie run lots of selfish iso. When Kyrie is hot in that role, it helps the team a lot offensively.

Throughout the series, just a spectacular team performance by JR Smith. Extremely unselfish on offense. On defense, he played exceptionally well, even if that drained him on offense.

Tough to say. Do the Cavs win this year if they won last year? Do they have the same motivation? Personally, I suspect it would have went 7 games last year as well.

Who are the All Time Greats from the Jordan Era? Malone, Payton, Ewing, Robinson, Miller, Olajuwon, Drexler, Isaiah

Ok...as I'm writing this I'm realizing there were more superstars back then. Probably has more to do with the floor rising (your average player is more talented now) than your ceiling falling though.

well last year Lebron shot like 38% and took like 95% of the shots lol. I would have loved to have seen jordan or the like take that many possessions for a series lol.

Lebron had a weak three games but became historic real quick. JR Smith should have gotten a vote for finals MVP.. loved the way he played.

I wonder if the Cavs trade Love now. He played well last night and can be an asset against many teams, but just does not appear to match up well with GS. Can't wait to see who they make a run at in FA as well
