Obviously we love College Bball, but stop the reeruned narrative that it's more popular FFS.

The NC game in football has been running in the 25m range for many years (even Notre Dame-Bammy only drew 26m). The 33m this year was probably due to the playoff. The numbers for the other major bowl games were down across the board so all the playoff did was draw from the Fiesta, Orange, etc.

Year one of the playoffs a smashing success with numbers hoops can only dream of. SEC network a smashing success turning profits early. Rough year for The Rudders.

Try again, Wicked. When compared directly it's not...even.....close.

You really want to compare the totals for the cbb playoffs vs the CFB playoffs?

Is that what you're really asking to do?

Of course there was a bump this year for the NC game. There was no SEC team involved.

Conference was exposed.

In what sport are the playoffs not more interesting than the regular season?

Please, tell me. I'm here all day.

Not one rating released for the SEC Network. Complete bust that missed the boat by about 5 years.

5 great programs are all anyone cares about in the SEC (Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU). No one wants to watch the trash that gets pushed to the SEC Network and the numbers prove it.

Wake up everybody. There's a game on to see who goes to the Final Four. Why isn't anyone posting about it in the tournament thread?

What are the ratings for the Longhorn Network?

The NCAA Tournament Selection Show drew a 3.5 final rating and 5.5 million viewers on CBS last Sunday, down 15% in ratings and 19% in viewership from last year (4.1, 6.8M) and the lowest rated Selection Show ever on CBS. The previous low was a 3.6 in 2012, and the low before that was a 4.0 in 2011 and 2008. Keep in mind the telecast overlapped with NASCAR Sprint Cup racing on FOX, which earned a 4.1 and 7.0 million.
