hell, Jurschele already cost us a postseason game according to a few in this thread. Good Lord.

the only thing meaningful about this last month of baseball is the log jam we have for our 23, 24 and 25 spots on our postseason roster

Rios/Orlando/Gomes/Colon/Cuthbert/Infante/Zimmer/Almonte fighting for 2 MAYBE 3 spots

Locks:

Cueto/Volq/Ventura/Medlen/Duffy
Holland/Davis/Herrera/Hoch/Madson/Morales

Sal/backup catcher
Hos/Morales
Zobrist
Esky
Moose
Gordon/Cain/Dyson/Gore

That's 22 locks. 1 spot has to be Infante/Colon/Cuthbert (most likely Colon or Infante), 1 spot has to be an OF (Rios/Orlando/Gomes). Spot 25 is whoever is hottest. Could be Zimmer. Could be Gomes. I'm thinking Gomes since he's a specialist and we tend to struggle against LHP.

He is THE third base coach. If he is behaving as you suggest he should be let go yesterday.

just because he made the super easy call holding Gordon last year doesn't mean he has had multiple brain farts this year. I don't trust the guy; sending Hos was utterly stupid.
