The Arizona Cardinals select Bryce Petty QB from Baylor University
Really tough decision two players I liked but I took the chance the player might be there when I pick later. Ok so why a QB ? They have Lindley and Thomas why another QB. Neither stepped up when they had a chance and Cards need a successor to Carson Palmer. The Cardinals see this a great value pick.. |

Yeah I was hoping someone would draft him ahead of me, because it really hurt to pass on him. I just knew I had to get a starter at DE and didn't see one that would make it all the way to my next pick. Kudos to Sfeihc.

Man I gotta think Carolina would be delighted if the draft played out this way. Potential first rounder at a position of need still available after snagging Flowers in round 1.

Oh man.. Tough call...
*sigh*. Bring on the shit talk, fellows. Pittsburgh entered the draft with defensive issues yet they chose to solidify their offense with a young playmaking tight end in the first round. The Steelers are probably leaving some "value" on the board with this pick in terms of the types of bigger athletes that can make an impact in the City of Bridges on the line, but there's a bigger positional need in the secondary because they cannot afford to wait any longer given the smaller prospect pool. With their pick in the second round of the 2015 draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select, Anthony Harris, safety, Virginia Tech. Harris is a little undersized to play in the box for certain, but his speed should provide the upside to get him on the field sooner than later -especially with the departure of the longtime fixture of Troy Polamalu.
Spoiler!

*edit* one small note, though, and I had a similar typo/brain fart on my pick, but Harris is a Cavalier, not a hokie. |

The Carolina Panthers select Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn.
I was going to select another OT here because the Panthers are a true fan's wet dream but they signed Oher in FA. Yes I realize that Oher sucks....but I'm not going to go back to back OTs with him in the fold. The Panthers have dick outside of Kelvin Benjamin. Enter Sammie Coates. Yes I know he has drop problems but he's got to much ability to not take a chance on at this point. He'll also help stretch the field....allowing Benjamin and Olsen to feast in the intermediate routes. |
