Rewatched 1&2 so far and Thandiwe Newton is absolutely gorgeous in the 2nd movie. She basically doesn't exist after that. I like the 2nd one more than most do. Started #3 and plan to get caught up by the weekend.

Just watched MI, MI2, MI3 and Ghost Protocol. Will watch Rouge Nation and Fallout tomorrow. Have a ticket for Friday's release. I actually am having a great time re-watching these films!

Oh, and MI2 is NOT as bad as others have stated. Not GREAT but not bad.

Went to see MI-7 tonight with the teen kids. We thought it was ok. If I compare to the last one (Fallout) in Rotten Tomato terms, I’d give MI-6 Fallout a 95 and I’d give MI-7 an 80. MI-7 is an enjoyable action flick, good stunts and set pieces in Rome and Venice, but stupid plot and just not as good as the last one.

Thouht MI7 was decent its not my favorite. The idea of the movie and the all encompassing enemy they created I think made for a very interesting story arc. But the sequence of events to let that cool story unfold was just "ok" though there is a high bar with these movies so it can be hard to meet it.

Saw this earlier today and after watching the whole series again before going to the show, my first thought was "the plot" WTF? That was ridiculous but I enjoyed the action and hated some scenes like the yellow Fiat thing and the fight between an older "Gabriel" vs. a much younger and athletic Llsa on the bridge. Oh well, YES, I will go see part 2 because the sound in the XD theater I saw it in was bar none the reason that made this movie incredible.
