Here at stately Bossa Nova manor.

We are making Bourbon Apple Butter & Apple Jelly with honey instead of sugar.

Gonna make cinnamon apples, cinnamon pears and pear honey.

Smells awesome in here!

We are making the cinnamon apples this weekend.

And we are making these ready to go apple pie filling in quart jars. Spin up a fresh Alton Brown pie crust right quick and it's like apple pie on demand.

We always get a zillion apples, but they are not very big or pretty. They just have such great flavor you just can't leave 'em be.

This year, for some reason, there is a zillion of them, they are very big and they're not very pretty. Still that big flavor.

3 trees. 1 Red Delicious. 1 Yellow Delicious. 1 IDK. Over the years they have gone through different phases of self mutilation. They will put out so many apples that entire branches would break and fall off. I think they are finally getting their shit figured out.

The pear tree does that shit, too.

BL, we don't find worms in the apples. They are mostly shaped funky and got spots on them.

Is that a problem with worms? It would be real neat if this is a problem I could solve by slaying a bunch of miserable stinking worms.

I was wondering if you were trying to tell me why I got funky apples. We never spray them or treat them with anything. Just take them as they come. I'm sure there is something going on causing them to look that way.

If I knew of a spray or treatment that would solve my problem and enviro friendly, that would be swell.
