They're not cutting him because he's a terrible player. They're cutting him because he's a headache that they're tired of dealing with.

Having the Patriots and the Steelers locker rooms both implode in the same season would be super sweet.

I don't get it. You bench Butler minutes before kickoff during the Super Bowl because of petty Belicheck bullshit, and yet you bring in a guy who's missed multiple seasons due to being irresponsible. Belicheck brought in headcases like Ochocinco and Haynesworth that didn't work out, and this looks to be the same.

With their window about to close with Brady I think they figure it was worth losing what is likely to be backup lineman sometime picked in the 5th.

Guess we'll see, but I'm skeptical. Not thrilled with giving up a 5th round pick, but certainly he COULD help, if, if, if, if...
I thought it was dumb the moment the Raiders signed Moss because I knew he would be a locker room cancer.

But when he signed with the Pats, I thought it had potential. Moss wanted to both be a star and have a shot at a ring, two things the Pats gave him. I figured on a winning team he could keep it together for at least a year.

I don't know as much about Gordon, but even so I have a lot more doubts.

Gordon has never shown the ability to work hard nor stay off drugs. The Patrots expect both. He's going to magically change with them yelling at him when he screws up?

But Randy Moss, Corey Dillon and Aqib Talib did, so, you know, you win some and you lose some.

I'm also skeptical, but hey, cautiously optimistic. God knows he could help the Patriots IF he can figure out the offense to some degree and keep his act together. Only time will tell.

It's a fairly cheap flyer for a guy of Gordon's talent. If I were a Patriots fan, I'd be ecstatic. Low risk, high reward.

Let's just say there's some world where we signed Trumaine Johnson instead of Sammy Watkins. If the Chiefs had sent a 5th for Gordon to pair with Hill, CP would disapprove?

I really hope he gets suspended soon cause I’m tired of dealing with the Pats. We need that #1 seed.
