24 Hours... with Patrick Mahomes

Haven't read it all yet, but the 24 Hours article the MMQB did with Adam Schefter during free agency was really good...

Spoiler!

FTR, Favre had his best seasons in terms of ball security while Reid was on staff in Green Bay.

So having a reckless QB offsets Reid's naturally conservative nature?

I cant believe some are advocating giving up 2 first round picks and a 3rd for any QB in this draft.

If there is one @#27 and Dorsey likes him...pull the trigger...if not, go defense. Chiefs run defense was horrible...

Chiefs arent desperate at QB...no reason to throw draft capital away for over-hyped 2/3 round talent.

The middle of our defense is/was soft as hell.

Poe,Wilson,Parker are all finesse type.

Wilson is a chaser
Parker is a terrible tackler who plays more like a CB (even got moved to slot CB)
Sorenson is hard-nosed but still not a hammer
Berry got moved back to single-high safety
DJ got hurt

Not good when your LBs and SS are soft in a 3-4

We need more physicality down the middle of our Defense.

We don't have a strong safety on the roster anymore since they moved Berry

"Monster" might be a bit exaggerated...but KC was without 4 starters against the run...Bailey, Howard, DJ and Mauga. They missed Devito more than they led on...

KC goes ILB, CB... or possibly OLB @27....RB in the 3rd. I'm thinking Zach Cunningham or if a CB drops. Dorsey drafts a year before contracts expire...it will be interesting how they handle Ford.

yea, he will help.

He's better against the run than Poe ever was.

2-down type player though

ILB and SS are still weak without DJ and Berry

Mauga still gone
DJ might not ever be the same

ILB is a big need

so is SS imo

If Jabril Peppers is there when we pick he is worth consideration.

Logan, Peppers and getting Bailey back would help our run defense.

The more I watch this guy the more I like him. Don't want to trade up but damn if he's available at 27 better pull the trigger.
