Which three players in the NFL would you build a franchise around?

You can pick any three players currently in the NFL. Salary Cap space not being an issue, who would you choose?

I'd be in win now mode, and I'd go with Aaron Rodgers, Julio Jones, and Von Miller.

You could pick any 3 players in the league and you go with Russell Wilson?

Oh, yes. Chris Jones has potential.

I was thinking someone like Geno Atkins....but I could go with Jones.

That would be my choice. 3-5 years ago it would have been Rodgers, but we're starting new here and it's a pipe dream to expect SB contention before he's 38.

Maybe switch out Peters for Von just to have quality at 3 different aspects of the game.

Luck, Peters, Donald. Final answer. No need to phone a friend, Regis.

Interesting number of Russell Wilson votes. I think he's already peaked and is potentially on the way down hill, as odd as that sounds for a guy under 30.

Rodgers is a little too old to build around if we're thinking long term. QB's often fall off a cliff around 35 or 36, so he'd be a rental, not a buy.

I'm finding it really difficult to pick a young QB though, because they're so mercurial, by nature. Derek Carr? Dak Prescott? Marcus Mariota? Jameis Winston?

At this point, I'd probably go Carr.

Joey Bosa. Just because I can't stand Von Miller.

And Tyreek Hill. Because he's a freak.

Reek would be my 4th

Bosa is young and busting right out of the games, but man Donald is a specimen. Really, I'd be happy with Von, Bosa or Donald, but those are THE THREE to choose from. If it was Von, I'd focus on the DT love and try to forget the donko stench.

Carr rattles too easily still to take over Luck. At least against the Chiefs he does. Has a whiff of Jeff George on him that doesn't mix well with the Raiders stench.
