Turns out that Indy and the Falcolns both use Field Turf Classic HD, according to this 2015 SI article ranking the NFL surfaces. The article mentions various determinants of field quality.

Yeah - the difference is that Indy puts a mix of live and dud WWII era claymore mines under theirs; gotta keep things sporting.
Because I honestly have not other ****ing explanation for the house of horrors that is Lucas Oil. I was glad to see Luck finally get his brains scrambled so maybe they'll finally do something about the concrete they must have underneath that surface. Indy is a terrible, dangerous place to play.

I felt that the Colts players made that field seem worse by dribbling our players heads on it.

Regardless, the Chiefs really need to address the ILB position this off-season.
Ramik Wilson was embarrassing today. Re-watched the game, and Wilson whiffed so many times, was unaware in coverage, and was the guilty party for the too many men penalty. Horrible homecoming for him today. |

I hope for Tamba and DJ and DC sake we can win the Super Bowl. Those guys have been here the longest and most deserving on the team. It would be for all those that didn't get the opportunity last 40 years.

In a "what have you done for me lately" league I'm glad the Chiefs did the classy thing and rewarded players that have been great role models and team mates.

I've always been a Tamba fan. His story is amazing when you think about it. The things he has experienced has always made him work his ass off and not take anything for granted. The guy has done whatever has been asked of him. I'm cursed, so I don't buy player jerseys until they retire. They get hurt or traded when I do. I'll be buying a Tamba jersey as soon as he retires though.

Tamba still has juice. He's been getting solid pressure and now his knees are finally healthy and you're seeing him play more.
He can play at a high level next year IMo
