Okay car guys... Good value?

Or can we talk them down?

Free Carfax.

http://www.cmsmotorsports.com/vehicl...mo-id-15029200

https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...GR48K58C228533

According to one website, it is listed at $1725 above the average asking price. This one has the Hefty floor liner, tow package, below average mileage, etc. though. Just wondering what smarter people than me think. Thanks.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy an OBD2 scanner for about $50.

Plug it under the dash of any car you are looking to buy and it will tell you about major potential problems and if anything was recently cleared that may not let you pass inspection.

For that year and model along with the history, that's overpriced.

Jeep seems to be very hit or miss from people I know with them in regards to reliability. With a Jeep that has clearly been in an accident and is currently over-priced, that's a total pass. Plus, that's horrible gas mileage for a car like that.

Have you looked outside of Springfield? Traveling a couple hundred miles opens up so many buying opportunities at dealerships.
Looking at a few in Ozark and Marshfield.

Well, IMO you should have a bunch of options out there. Almost an "infinite" number to look at. Be careful though... You have no idea who might've "co-signed" a deal on something and might be selling stolen wheels.

I had a patriot and the freaking resale value was redonk.. I bought it for like 24 drove it for 5 years and still got 16 or so thousand out of it. 4x4 jeeps hold their value. This though looks like shit. I would get a nice midsize car new with 100,000 mile warranty.

You must have more joints than I do that makes you fold up better. Gal I worked with at Cabela's had one and I felt like I was riding in a shoebox.

The worst was this girl I wanted to bang in college had a Sebring convertable. My god. I was crammed from every direction.

You sure it wasn't a regular (XJ) Cherokee? Those are a bit more cramped, I can barely get through the doors of them.

I am not a car guy by any means, but my 08 Compass with 130k miles (mostly highway) has held up pretty well with only a few things that had to be done outside of normal maintenance.
