Cold Brew Coffee.

Recently I was perusing the coffee snob thread and came across the cold brew coffee conversation. I decided to try some. It's fantastic!!!

I like coffee. But I can't handle anything hot in the summer. I talked about it with Silock when he was pounding the coffee on a cut diet and he said drinking hot coffee in the summer should help the body handle the heat, physiologically. Despite all that I can't do it. I just seem to be hot and miserable all day.

It takes a little planning to make happen but if you like coffee make it. You'll thank me later. It even makes Folgers taste good!

NewPhin and FMB need to get in here so I can rep them for motivating me to make it.

The problem with coffee is that it tastes and smells like coffee. If one could create coffee without the taste and scent properties, then I may be game.

Cold Coffee is LITERALLY like pissing the bed.

"Oh $#it, this shouldn't be that temperature..."

The Hoff drinks cold coffee and is a perfect example of what can happen to you. Next thing you know your laying on floor in your own vomit eating a burger.

Hot coffee gone cold, sure.

Iced coffee is just as good as iced tea.

And iced coffee with cream and sugar [maybe some Bosco] is heaven. [coffee ice cream is my favorite flavor].

That's what people like about it. Or it wouldn't be coffee anymore.

So I went to Starbucks recently because I have the app on my phone and it gives you a free item on your birthday. They now advertise cold brewed coffee.

Did you hear about the guy who registered 365 accounts, each with a different B-Day.

Evidently, not satisfied with simply ripping them off, he also orders the most complicated and expensive 'birthday drinks' imaginable.

Shots of espresso, shots of wheatgrass, squirts of this, that and the other.

Any one ever had Bullet Proof Coffee?

From people who drink it, I hear it really stokes your energy for a long period of time.

Wow, no I hadn't. I must admit that the thought occurred to me when I went to pick up my coffee though.
