Changes that need made to turn the season around

Let's get right down to it.

Start Chase Daniel or Aaron Murray....I think the team would rally around either guy.
Run the ball more...get West and Sherman involved a lot more.
Start Conley and get him involved in the weekly gameplan...this should be our counter punch to teams consistently blitzing.
Activate Steven Nelson and have him play the nickel.
Feed the ball to Kelce and Maclin a lot more...especially on third down.
Let Howard have the NT job full time. The DL was stronger when he was playing more reps. At least IMO.
Move Poe to end full time.
Andy needs to hand over play calling duties to Childress, or Pederson.

I know there are lots of other changes that need made, but that should get us started.

1)Bring in the guy who broke Geno Smiths jaw
2) have him break Alex Smiths jaw
3) have Chase start and tank the rest of the season
4) draft a Qb in round 1
5) suffer through his 3 mediocre years of play
6) trade 2 2nd round picks for Kap...

I have never liked head coaches that insist on dual roles as Coordinators. haley did it, Crennel did it, and now Reid does it.

You were not paid to be a dual role coach, you are needed to be the HEAD coach damnit. Put some trust in your staff and let them have control of the offense.

Well who do you think is calling the plays?

Couldn't resist the opportunity to answer a Donger question with a question.

Andy Reid will probably make sure that no changes are made, that's the way he rolls.

I think it's just realization that to win a playoff game every 25 years or so, some seasons you need to be able to beat teams like that.

And it's not that we lost those games, it's that we showed we are still the same franchise that will find a way to lose to Denver. Losing in GB is what every team does, but how it went down with the coaching and execution was terrible.

The reality is that KC could lose to Cincy and somehow sneak into the playoffs, but unless something big changes tomorrow this team's lofty goals are kaput.

It's a damn shame because the AFC is wide open save for NE. I am thoroughly in the camp that claimed Alex wouldn't take us deep from day 1, but with the conference so wide open coming into the season it didn't seem impossible that KC could make a run.

The key word in your statement is PRESEASON, playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers. Murray did just as well playing against 2s and 3s. Giving the ball to Daniel does nothing except it gives him more money (ours or someone else's) next season if he does well. If he tanks, we've just wasted another season of Murray's growth.
I do agree Reid shouldn't be calling the plays. Put the OC in charge of that. Reid's job is to manage the game. And put that freaking bubble screen play in the paper shredder.

This post is full of falsities.

First off, Chase faced several first team defenses, including Seattle. He pushed the ball further down field, was far more aggressive and was in full command of the offense. The way the ball left his hand was very different than it left Smith's.

Secondly, Doug Pederson called the plays during preseason and the offense looked very different and scored a lot of points.

Pederson calling plays is great in theory, but you still have a QB that can't execute the calls.

Agreed. He needs to be benched, plain and simple.

Unless he can make some sort of miraculous turnaround, which is highly unlikely, he's done.

IMO, Daniel can get this team to 10-6.
