I've lived in Great Falls, MT and Fairbanks, AK and have traveled through and stayed a few days in all different parts of the west... but Mother Mary having something like this go down in my backyard would rock me to the core.

And not in a good way, at all.

I would forever be envisioning my family or myself out there screaming like that, only way I'd stay is by completely encircling that backyard with one badass fence.

And yeah, OTWP is right... the bear should've killed that ****ing idiot standing right there recording it, I heard kids in the background and everything.

What the hell is wrong with that guy?

What you think somebody just left a big snack in the middle of a steel circle with teeth on it? What could that have been? Its a big metal circle with spikes coming out of it, how could that have worked out? Moron.

Ok but let's be honest, it's definitely more appropriate to call it Mediocre Falls.

Heh, agreed.

Anyone going there expecting some towering waterfall is in for a disappointment.

Screamed until I got reloaded and killed it. Almost gave up deer hunting after that.

However, after I opened its legs to gut him and saw the size of his balls, I shot him again.
First, and only time I went flintlock hunting was with my bud Stoney. Ironically enough the guy wouldn't smoke a doobie if you put a gun to his head and would probably crush you for asking, big man and straight as an arrow.

Anyway, the first shot he took misfired but the buck didn't run. Took another shot and it jumped by the time the slug reached him. He hit it right above the knee, maybe one inch and we chased that deer for what seemed like 2 miles and only had shots at about 30 yards before it bled out and couldn't run anymore.

I gotta admit it was a pretty traumatic experience seeing a deer on three legs that was just trying to get a couple acorns and go to bed but Stoney started crying saying "please just kill it already". It finally ended but the buck never made any sounds like that one in the video made. That's a horrible sound. There's a reason I use a 30.06 anymore and a good reason rifles have evolved.

EDIT: first time flintlock and got a shot at a buck
