You guys crack me up !

Dorsey suck / OK let's bring Pioli back.

Alex Smith was a mistake / Ok we should have kept Cassel and drafted Geno.

If only Romeo was still here. we'd have already crashed 3 or 4 planes into Arrowhead by now trying to drag all the banners around.

Chiefs have to slice 6.5 mil by March 10 in order to get Houston under contract

Actually, the opposite. The Chiefs will want to give him a new contract so they can better gut their 2015 cap. Signing Houston long term will save us a shitload of 2015 cap space if we are to believe he's here no matter what.

I've never heard anyone on here say either of those two things.

Anyone who did should be drowned in a tank of boar semen...

Alright, Chicken Littles. Is this that hard to understand? It's all posturing.

Houston's agent is not going to let him sign anything now. His leverage is at its greatest just before or during training camp. Of course the Chiefs tagged him. Of course he's going to delay signing it. He may participate in offseason activities anyway or he may not. It's all posturing.

He will be in uniform this year, they aren't going to let the most talented player on defense sit a year or just walk away. Pioli is gone.

If they paid Bowe, they are surely not going to let someone who's actually integral to the team's fortunes get away.

There is no reason to pay Rodney Hudson top five money, let alone make him the highest paid center. He's very good, but that's just an utterly replaceable position.

It's the middle linebacker of the offense. Important, sure, but most of the time you find a starter in the second round or below.

Elite pass rusher, however...

Add to it that Justin Houston gave us monstrous production while playing on a third rounder salary. Chiefs will have to break the bank. Period.

Eh. Throwing ****fits is a lot more fun than waiting and seeing what happens. And when Dorsey gets Houston signed to a long-term deal, it'll just be "About time he got something right!"

2015 we will have like 3 Pioli draft picks as contributors on the WHOLE TEAM

4 years and 3 picks left on the roster that make any impact for the franchise. That is sad.
