We beat the Sea Chickens and the Pats

Obviously coming up one game short to make the playoffs stink, no question about it but it does feel good knowing that when we played the Chicks we beat them straight up, with no flukes, smash mouth football. We were and are the better team.

Then playing the pats and making them look so bad that many of the country was questioning whether or not Brady was washed up. I didn't think it was as much him as our team playing to there potential.

With at least 10 picks in the upcoming draft and another year under our belt there isn't any reason we can't go a long way next year including the superbowl.

I know I'll get blasted for making the comments but I know really give a F#@k. Just feels good knowing we were the better team.

My point is that when we played both we beat them with zero flukes.

When we played to our potential we can beat anyone, that was my ultimate point.

When we play down to our competition we lose.

I get it, but if you are sitting on your arse during the superbowl there is something that makes you feel a little better about your team knowing that you beat them both, and one handily during the season.

And with all of the draft picks we having coming we could do some good stuff next year.
Zero flukes?

Um..

The absolute dumb****ery of Andy Reid, and the complete ineptness of Alex Smith is why this team is sitting on their asses in January.

Beat the two superbowl contenders, and then lose to bottom feeders.

We will not go to the playoffs, let alone deep into the playoffs until Andy Reid figures out how to use his running backs. Any QB we suit up is in legitimate life threatening danger because there is no run threat.

Andy Reid's handpicked goldenboy was getting absolutely smoked game after game after game and yet the gameplan never changed. Even after goldenboy suffered a lacerated spleen behind that shit O-line with no wide receivers, Andy still wouldn't commit to the run.

Alex Smith was so bad he could not complete a single TD pass to a wideout all season.

We not only accept that performance, we rewarded it with an extension and are paying what, 17 million a year for passes that don't travel past the first down sticks?

The Kansas City Chiefs are not going anywhere under Andy Reid/Alex Smith unless both men have some sort of "moment of clarity" and completely change who they have been for their entire careers.

The last best hope for the Kansas City Chiefs is for Andy Reid's heart to just realize he's not going to stop pounding those greaseburgers and cease to beat, and for Alex Smith to get hit by a ****ing bus.

Preferably before the NFL draft.

This was a big step from year 1 where we couldn't beat anyone but backup QB's. The staff fixed our biggest issue (defense) and we looked better.

It's up to the staff to fix the offense now and create an all-around talented team capable of being playoff caliber year in and year out.
This team was the youngest in the AFC this year. So many talented players at age 25 or younger.

Of course Ford and Fisher especially will need to show that they are for real, but overall Dorsey has done a nice job with the overall roster setting up long term success.
