Who is the biggest Homer on Chiefsplanet?

So, we all know that CP leans toward negativity and has no problem criticizing the Chiefs organization. It's been stated many times that there is no point in rival fans bashing the Chiefs, because we do a fine job of that on our own.

That being said, even this site has its homers. So, who are the blind supporters of the Chiefs? Who defends them even when there's nothing to defend?

I've come up with three names that have stuck out to me over my short two year existence. These are probably weak names, but I haven't been here very long, so cut me some ****ing slack.

The three I noticed are Marcellus, Dane (although I saw him give up hope last week), and Big Meatball Dave. I believe he was BCD and Big Chief Dave prior to that.

Who am I missing? Call out the homers!

Also, Homers of other teams on the board. We know that Rustshack fella would blow the entire starting lineup of Iowa State if they'd have him. Let's call our those dudes as well.

All the serious kool aid drinking homers are over at Arrowhead Pride. Also, check out Mitch's Holthaus show tonight on WHB 6pm. The people who show up for that are blind homers for sure. Sad, really.

If there is one positive to take away from the last three weeks, it would be that the 49er/Alex trolls have shut the **** up for a little while.

Add temper11 and TripleThreat to your Alex Homers list. That Sandy dude may be the worst, though.

It'll be different next year, and if you're a hater and need "proof", just wait until mid-October '15 to eat your crow.

I sense I am now on the more homeristic side of the ledger, all by not being over excited by early success or over hyperventilating by the last three weeks.

The ref thing yesterday hurt my interest in the entire sport, more than any of the teams present difficulties. But that's mostly because there is NOTHING to be done about it. It's part of the new reality in the NFL, along with QB coddling and WR primacy.

Homerism is a spectrum, not a condition. Some people are more homerific than others, but there always exist situations where people stop being homers.

We're starting to see that come out in the past couple days. Lots of people jumping the Alex Smith ship. In that way, we don't have any homers right now.

We're all homers from time to time. I'm usually a homer in the offseason when talking about player development. I was telling everybody to ****ing relax during training camp. Then preseason happened and I reverted back to my normal pessimistic self.

So you kind of have to clarify your homerism. Especially on this forum. You say, "RunKC is being a homer about Eric Fisher" or whatever, not just "RunKC is a homer," because that's a time-dependent designation.

I'm done. The Clark's have finally broken me. I can't see this team winning anything of significance with Reid, Dorsey and Smith running the show. I'll refrain from purchasing the Sunday Ticket until they've all been fired, traded or tossed aside.

I'm done wasting my time watching them repeat the same mistakes, regardless of who's in charge, they've made since the late 80's.

As bad as Steadman and Schaff were in the 70's and 80's, they at least drafted quarterbacks and made some inspired head coaching hires as opposed to retread coaches and QB's.

So over it.
