Let us keep some perspective

We lost to a team we should have beat. New England, Seattle and Buffalo are all saying the same about us. Denver is saying the same about St. Louis.

We just won 7 out of our last 8.

Fact is we are still 7-4 with an excellent shot at finishing 10-6 or even 11-5. Records no one said we would have this season and that was before losing DJ, DeVito, etc.

We looked tired against the Raiders. Coming off of 2 big wins that were battles to the end then going on the road on 3 days rest and playing in bad weather, well...we lost. We should have won, we could have won but we lost.

10-6 may not get us in this year but it's still nothing to be ashamed of record wise. I think we have 11-5 in us.

It hurts watching us lose that way especially after we battled back after being down 14, twice. If the game is at Arrowhead we most likely are 8-3 but that's how it is.

So enjoy a nice long break, eat some turkey and let's get ready to piss-pound Princess Pey-Pey and the Donks.

We were down by 14 twice and took the lead. While Smith may not have won the game, he most certainly didn't lose it. If you want to put it at the player level...try blaming a defense that allowed a weak offense to push their shit in all night and oh, Abdulah dropping what would have been the game sealing INT.

My problem with Pitt is their rushing attack. We can be run on. The key will be clock control.

Just like last year, the Cheaps are the worst good team in the NFL, That's not a slam on your team but that's where I see them...

I fear the late season slide as many of you do. But I think this will be a wake up call. We've played tough teams week after week close and physical, we looked out of it. Hopefully Miami plays Denver hard and keeps them on the ropes while we catch our breath.

Side note can we as fans lobby for chilly to take over play calling when Reid's being a bitch the whole first half?

We've always been the worst good tea if were good. Were just not capable of being dominant game after game yet.

I'm not in panick mode yet we've got some leaders that are tough and know how to win. I think they'll keep this young team mentally tough. I'm hoping this was just a wake up call. We haven't really shown signs of a slide like last year.

Just bounce back and beat the donks. If I had to choose a scenario I'd choose loosing in Oakland and beating the donks at Arrowhead over the opposite. Our guys were so tired and slow looking out of the gate and while they did mount a come back they still looked gassed the whole game. Yeah I'm bummed but I still think our wins over the good teams we've played say more about this team then this one loss.

Get rid of Thursday night games. Players say Monday Night Football games are bad enough to recover in time for the next game ahead. I can imagine what these must be like for a team especially the one going on the road. It was obvious KC wasn't ready to play just yet.

I would rather read a deberg thread than listen to your evaluations of an NFL team.

I think this will end up being a good thing. This is a huge wake up call for us and I fully expect us to come out guns blazing against Denver next Sunday.

Win next week and all we have to do is win our 2 divisonal games at home and we should be in.
I feel very comfortable playing at Indy or Cincy in the playoffs. We match up well against them both IMO.

But people need to remember this is only year two. Next year I fully expect us to stock up at WR, TE, CB and OL in the draft. This team is going in the right direction. It's not a finished product though.
