Hey Simply Red, did fashion rules change?

That murdering assface Ray Lewis is on MNF wearing a gray suit with brown shoes and a brown hat.

Is this no longer a faux pas?

You would think ESPN would have people for this?

This just makes Ray Lewis more of an unbearable ****. I didn't even know that was possible.

Whats a suit? I buy one off the rack for a funeral return to Penny's after.

I quit buying flannel shirts when somebody decided a 7 dollar flannel shirt should now cost 30 bucks. I buy crew neck sweatshirts for work alot better than a flannel and as soon as it heats up lose it for t shirt under.

That makes a little more sense. I do run the coat when it gets stupid cold and I have to work in it for extended period. Change a hoodie for flannel and I'm with you.

I never wear black boots and black belts. They clash with my hardhat and high visibility yellow vest.

Definitely not.

If I was married I would still dress nice because I follow the old adage:

When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you do good.

What's next, get married and get fat, too?

Heh. Not true. For better or worse, we run in circles where a lot of guys spend more money or as much money on their clothing as the women.

I, thankfully, haven't become one of those guys, but if I could own a badass suit for every day of the week, I'd do it.

I tend to just go with high dollar denim, nice shirts, and classic boots for the most part.

Oh, as for the color mixing: I have a pair of black waxed cotton J.brand jeans that I wear with.... BROWN boots on occasion. They actually look freaking good. I also wear them with black boots... but they don't look bad with the brown. Example (though my boots are Redwing Iron Rangers): http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...tL._UY679_.jpg

However, when I go grey, I tend to dress in a lot of different shades of duotones. Light grey on dark grey on black. My wife does say that the brown/black barrier has been broken as of late, though... and she has a degree in fashion.
