I think they slept on us, knowing we had your 2nd team players in, do you think they took us lightly? I do.

Exactly!! A lot of people on here talk Chargers like they're gonna be good. They've got a hard sched too. They beat more teams with winning records Than is last year. But we still had a better record. Eff the chargers!!

I do too, Chargers usually don't play like that. They obviously took us lightly. If lightly is the proper term.

I hate all rivals, but I have a weird feeling about San Diego this season. It may not be 9-7, but they will have a better record than us.

I think you can come into a game taking an opponent lightly, but if you're playing for your playoff lives, you might get taken by surprise early, but talent will take over before long.

That was a competitive game until the very end.

If the Chargers were as good as you believe them to be, they would have taken charge by the second half against our scrubs.

One game from a year ago doesn't convince me that they will underperform like that again. Just a bad game, every team has a bad game here and there. Chargers will be tough.

The Chargers aren't nearly as talented as they were for the better part of the last decade, and that team, with Rivers at QB, has always underperformed.

Rivers never had a stable offense, that team is always getting rid of their best players. I would take Rivers over the the QBs we've had over the last 20 years.

I am not pointing at Rivers specifically.

Just using him as a point of reference for the time I am discussing.

And never had a stable offense?

Rivers, Tomlison, Gates?

Come on, man.

Why would you be listing Rivers if he "always" underperforms?

It take more than 2 players to succeed.

For as negative as you've been re: our FA + offseason I'm really surprised you're picking 8-8.

Our defense is going to be the reason why we end up 8-8.
