No. I didn't specify where the pressure was going to come from. Additionally, I didn't evaluate their tendencies on 3rd an 5+.
As a personal philosophy, I would try to pressure a rookie QB playing on the road with more than a 4 man rush initially. Towards the end of the game, I'd like to rely on my 4 man rush to get pressure. However, I'd like to mix it up and confuse him early to get him uncertain and unsure about what kind of rolls and cvgs I'd through at him. Also, I'd have a lot more faith as HC/DC in having the Seahawks CBs play on an island (cov 1/ cov 0) vs. 5'9 Flowers. Just my own beliefs though. |

What we once thought was a strong area (secondary) Flowers,Carr,Berry and Lewis to this team is suddenly a mess. Flowers, getting dominated by the bigger guys, Carr, gone, Berry, still recovering from injury and not being coached right and Lewis same injury thing and he just seems to suck as of late.

Do you know how many times the 49ers were in the red zone on offense? None! Do you know how many times Eli was sacked? None! Frank Gore ran for 36 yards. Vernon Davis was shut down - including their offense. The Giants issued their own statement Sunday - The 49ers are overrated...

I love the Seahawks defense. Both CB's are tall athletic monsters, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor in the same draft was excellent and their pass rush is nasty. Bruce Irvin is gonna be a good pass rusher for years.
