Croyle throws off of his back foot on occasion.

I have heard/read several people bashing on Croyle for throwing off of his back foot. I just got done watching SPORTSCENTER run highlights of some of last nights pre-season games. And guess what? Favre threw at TD pass off his back foot. So did Garcia. And Hasselback threw a pass off his backfoot as well. Looks like Croyle is in some good company IMO.

but wilson was open .... Croyle throws that ball to the corner pylon and it's 6 points for us. (if griffin makes the catch anyway)

i didn't like the fact that it was griffin in the pattern .... you want a taller guy. A tightend like gonzo or a receiver like bowe to use body learn to match the catch and tap the toes.

bottomline is that i haven't seen anything yet to change my opinion of Croyle coming out of college.

he has all the tools and talent to be a starting NFL caliber quarterback if healthy.

I didn't see any of the others but as I recall Croyle didn't need to be throwing off his back foot. In fact it was more falling backwards as I remember. He wasn't under that much pressure. There was one guy just ahead of him. He could have at least set his feet. On top of that he just kind flinged it. Didn't really throw it. Kind of side armed it. It was down right lousy fundementals, in fact, there wasn't any. It seemed to me like he thought he could just easily complete this pass. No problem. Don't matter how I throw it. I think its scary.

Croyles reminds me of a young QB, who has never started one NFL game in his life.

I think this is exactly right.
