I missed the garlic and lemon. Had to find the old Facebook post when I made it. I haven't made this in a long time, so my method and amounts may change if I do it again. Quote:

Jalapeno Corn bread
We do this in a bread machine and pour into pan. 1/2 cup water 1 tblsp butter 1 1/3 cup bead flour 1/2 cup cornmeal 1 tsp salt 1 tblsp white sugar 3/4 cup whole kernel corn drained 2-3 big tablespoons chopped jalapeno ( recipe calls for 1 tablespoon) bake 350 till the toothpick comes out clean. You know the routine. |

I use them all the time. I regularly make black beans with onion, garlic, and jalapeņo. I throw them in omelets or make salsa or on a sub. Two nights ago I used them in a marinade for salmon. I've even just lightly fried them in oil and topped with sea salt.

All sound good - aside from the Salmon, I think i'm the only one in the world who doesn't care for Salmon.
