Next year it might be worth it to cut him, but the truth of the matter is we're not going to find a corner of his quality with the 3.5 million that would be saved. Next year perhaps.

A guy has one down season and the fanbase turns on you in a heartbeat.
I agree with those who say Flowers is likely gone next season. I think Hali is gone next season as well. I still wouldn't trade him though. I doubt you'd get more than a 4th anyway. Older vet players with huge contracts aren't easy to sell. |

Overvaluing of players, Flowers and Hali aren't worth jack shit on the trade market.

Hopefully Flowers rebounds this year so we can sell high next year.

If Flowers doesn't hit his head on Coopers arse, Chiefs win and he's worth every cent of his contract.

I don't think they would. It would be stupid. But it was the question in the OP, so I addressed it.

Next year when it makes sense for all parties, possibly.
A team would probably be willing to take him now or next year based on the salary they inherit at 6 mil per. His salary isn't inhibiting a trade in my opinion. The other team doesn't inherit bonuses. I think, however, saying a 1st or a 1st and 4th is grossly overvaluing him. You'd be lucky to just get that 4th. |

Like him but he's just too limited physically. I'd trade a 2 for him. Gotta think of the future.

Would likely not trade.
