We have no intention of keeping Carr. If we did, the deal would have been done before he hit the open market. The price will only increase now.
He is gone. We already signed his downgrade/replacement. All the Pioli talk is just whitewashing the fact that they are letting one of the team's best young players walk in favor of a more affordable option. |

michaelombardi: Hearing KC corner Brandon Carr is working towards a deal with the Cowboys, big number, might get over 7 per year

A 25 year old CB, that actually produced for us in big way and we let him walk and pick up the cheaper alternative.
I understand all things being equal, but in this case all things weren't equal. He was one of our own, he did his job and kept his mouth shut. We are ****ing fools for letting him walk. In three years were will we be at the CB position? Donald Washington and a rookie will be their future plans, probably.

if he gets 7 per year it's not even like we got a cheaper alternative

I find it ****ING IMPOSSIBLE that we didn't sign him because he wanted 7 and we said "hold on now, that's too much" but gave the ex faid 6

ok, explain to me how the ****ing cheating Cowboys can even afford $7mil? Seriously, aren't they OVER the cap right now? Even after releasing Newman, they should only have 4 or 5 mil left. (they have to absorb at LEAST $5 mil of their $10 mil penalty this year)
