This will be our best overall talented team in the Mahomes era. Doesn’t mean we got the 3peat in the bag. Lots of chance involved. But, I’ll take the most talent ever and roll with that Mahomes/Kelce/Jones led team.

We didn’t have enough cap space to keep Sneed (which I really regretted, but finally accepted) so I don’t see how we could possibly afford Metcalf.

I mean, it would be great to add him as a WR, no question. But I just don’t think it’s practical. I also don’t think it’s essential. Our WR room is so much better than last year. And maybe will be lucky and get something out of rice this year. And will probably be some other June first cuts that would be a lot less expensive. What would people think of us signing woods if Houston cuts him? Certainly not spectacular receiver, but I think still pretty reliable. And I am sure he would come cheap and be attracted to getting a ring.
