Chuck it into the woods. 1997. No joke.

He was like..."wtf!"

Just never really cared about autographs. What do they mean? I stood next to my favorite football player in the world as a 14 year old (Tony Gonzalez) at the airport wearing a Gonzalez jersey...I never acknowledged him, and he surely didn't give a **** about me. Valueless.

The memories mean something. Getting the signatures? Nah. I'll never encourage my kids (if that happens) to get those. Watching the games and remembering THESE MOMENTS are what counts.

I'll never forget THIS TEAM for the rest of my life.
Dude, Tony is/was a ****ing asshole. I got his autograph at 15, but only because Mike Stock literally MADE him come back and sign my hat. Oh, Warren Moon signed it that day too. #datingmyself

What's cool about that is I have a foul ball from earlier this season in my car. It's been there all year.

Love 'em, man. But I am a Cubs fan. I just don't see how that makes me a bad person. When I was 3 years old my parents divorced and my mom moved to Illinois and my dad got transferred to Kansas. All of my formative years were spent in Kansas while I spent summers in Illinois.

I hate bandwagon fans and I hate that some people think I'd ever do something like that. I would never. I'm a ****ing Chiefs fan for crying out loud.

The Cubs are my 2nd favorite team and I share it with my stepdad. It means a lot. He was a great influence in my life growing up and he really got me into the Cubs.

But, you know, ever since MLB.TV I've done nothing but root for the Royals. It's the Chiefs influence in my life.

It feels SO ****ING GOOD cheering for a team that fails so long and FINALLY breaks through.

Cardinals fans can't feel this right now. They win every year. They expect it.

This?

This is unbelievable.

ROYALS AND CUBS FAN IN CASE THAT POST WASN'T CLEAR.
