Congrats on a Great Year, the #2 Seed, and Looking Forward to Pats/Chiefs AFCCG

I just wanted to say congrats to the Chiefs on a great year. The stars really couldn't have aligned much better for the Pats and Chiefs to meet in the AFCCG this year. I'm sure you guys are rooting against the Pats in the divisional round so you get home field for the championship game, but I'm counting on seeing Pats/Chiefs in Foxboro on Sunday, January 22.

3. Young OL better this year.

4. Dante Scarnecchia is back, and has really improved the whole OL.

It's like night and day. We CAN run the ball. We CAN pass protect. Amazing but true!
Agreed. The most notable difference by far. Losing Gronk hurts less considering how solid that O-line has played. Brady gets all the attention, but his job has been made so much easier this year because that Pats O-line is legit.

No defense? Steelers had 10 more sacks than the Chiefs. #12 ranked D. (Chiefs #24)

About what I figured... Scarnecchia was a nice boost.

That crazy old man is nails.

My favorite Scar story -- all NFL players and coaches must make themselves available to the media on Super Bowl media day so Scar -- who hates talking to reporters -- sits WAAAAY up in the nosebleed section of the stadium. Any reporter who wants to speak with him must pay the iron price of climbing all those steps.

My favor Scar fact -- he was once the interim Patriots head coach.....

....in 1992. After Dick MacPherson got sick the year before he was fired and the Pats hired Parcells.

Well, yeah, but they played the Browns twice. That's got to be 20 sacks or so.

Agreed. And I'll take Chiefs D, but this myth that the Steelers suck on defense is wishful thinking.

That's cute but that's not how we measure QBs in KC. Check downs is where it's at my chowder eating friend. And Alex Smith has dominated in check downs for over a decade.

I thought our DL would the deciding factor in last year's game and in a way, it was. They utterly failed us and no other group was able to pick up the slack. We missed some INTs and had the fumble by Davis go against us as well. If the DL can pressure Brady this time then maybe things turn out our way. I've seen the DL play really well this year and play like they don't really care. I've got the feeling Houston just won't be a factor in the playoffs again so our other guys need to step up big time.
