Call your shot: what happens to Bowe today?

Bowe was ****EXPECTED**** to be released yesterday ... but he was not!

DUN

DUNNNN

DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Are the Chiefs still going to cut him?

Did he miraculously compromise on his cap hit at the 11th hour?

Did the Raiders entice with a trade offer?

Call your shot. Get it right, and our very own billay will tongue bathe your taint.

Poll forthcoming.

Back at a lower amount would be good, I guess that is what they are haggling with his reps to look for a $ both can agree on.

Problem with WRs wasn't Bowe. He was productive.
Problem is you can't afford to complement what he brings with a gaggle of garbage.

These guys added up to 1 more passing target than Bowe
Donnie Avery
Jason Avant
Junior Hemingway
A.J. Jenkins
Frankie Hammond

But 180 less yards and 10 less 1st Down catches

Swap Maclin for Bowe and turn that cobbled together mess into Bowe... You are on to something.

His ego won't allow that. He takes $3-$5 mil and the new guy is getting twice that?

I'm all for reducing his salary and bringing him back. That said, I still grab a WR in the first, if one of the top 5 prospects is still available, regardless if he's back or not. He's on the downside of his career and we need to prepare for the future.

And I am not sure it would be good if I was wrong. Sometimes it's better in these situations to just let it go. Bowe may think he is cool with it now but based on his past I would think at some point it would become a mental distraction for him.

I don't see this at all. If he had an ego problem I think there would have been many chances for him to 'blow up' to the media this past season. He seems to be pretty humble in all the interviews I heard.

That's now. He wants a deal. He has to be humble to a point if wants to get anywhere at all.

I change my mind.

Why in the hell would Bowe want to stay on a team when he will be the 3rd/4th option behind Maclin, Kelce, and Jamaal?

His value will actually go down from this point, especially with the WR killer at center. He needs to GTFO right now to salvage what future earnings are out there.

Its safe to assume that would be a fairly bitter pill to swallow for Dwayne, it would be for any athlete.

I hope its worked out so that he stays, but its iffy at best IMO.
