It could be the worst supporting cast to win a title that I can remember. A one-way player in Kyrie Irving was their #2, their #3 Kevin Love was a complete and total no-show for basically the entire series, Tristan Thompson is a good rebounder/defender but has no offensive game whatsoever, JR Smith is a Knicks castoff/one-trick pony, and the 35 year old shell of Richard Jefferson was playing 30+ minutes a game for much of the series.
There is no doubt that helping to bring this group back from the brink is LeBron's greatest accomplishment as a basketball player. |

I cant believe there are people in here that think Kyrie is a better #2 than what Kobe had.

I'd have Lebron in my all time NBA top 5...somewhere though between 3-5 behind MJ and Kobe.

This is ridiculous. They have a PG with multiple all-star appearances that can run the show and put up 30 pts any given night. He was superb down the stretch in games 5 and 7; they have Thompson who can defend very well and rebound; Though Love was an offensive no show for most of the series, he certainly is a good player and can score when called upon (the offense isn't really run through him); JR Smith has career average of 13 ppg and was the 6th man of the year not too long ago. You continue to underrate his supporting cast which isn't a surprise since you didn't even consider them to be a contender before the playoffs started. |

Most of you really don't know shit - but that was a hell of a game - I think we can all agree on that.

It was a great game. Thankful that I was able to live long enough to see Lebron become GOAT

The weird thing is...when it comes to football. Some of the planet posters got the talking heads from espn beat. In basketball though I can't find a single person that makes points that doesn't sound like it was directly ripped from stephen a smith. Back in the #IRC days. There was a rule you couldn't just come into a chat channel and say "SUNS SUCK" "PISTONS RULE" you have to actually say something worth a shit.

Now Kyrie showed up offensively when he had to in this series and outplayed Curry (which I suppose isn't saying too much considering how that guy's series went), but he's not a great player by any means. |

I think LeBron's biggest critics have always been too hard on him, and I think his supporters have always been too hard on his supporting casts. That probably won't change.
They weren't a deep team, but Irving, Love and Thompson played well tonight. JR Smith did a nice job on Klay Thompson too. There have certainly been better title teams, but they weren't the Sixers out there either. |

Kevin Love played like a man tonight. The whole cavs team really showed lots of heart to make it a series, then they showed they were men when they won the whole thing.

its the worst cast to a win a title since ? that was propped up carried by Lebron. I actually cant think of a cast worse that won.
