Well, shit....just got red ring of death for the first time. I'm sure there are tons of posts discussing it, but if anyone has a quick summary on what I should do I'd appreciate it. I bought extended warranty, but it's been probably 3 years since I bought this system, so no chance it's still in place. Off to do some research....
And of course it's 2 days before Christmas when my kids are getting a Kinect. Awesome. |

Yeah, but you are talking to the guy that feels the membership should be $50 per console rather than $60 per person.

I know - I just remembered how at one point you wanted to have more than 1 live account, but didn't want to pay $60 for each one. Personally, I think it's a pretty good deal. 4 year long gold accounts for $25/each.

Just not something I plan to jump into. I'm happy with playing online on the dark side.

Just spent the last 1 1/2 hours playing the Kinect. We got the kids Kinect Sports & it came with the Kinect Adventures. I gotta say - I had absolutely no intentions of buying it, but thus far....wow. Damn cool. Not something my old ass could do for hours on end, but it was definitely worth it. |

My aunt/uncle got the boys Kinect for Christmas. Right now they've got just Kinect Adventures. But, it is a blast. The best part of it may be the pictures!! Haha.

One cool thing about it that I didn't know, you can use the Kinect as your "headset" so to speak. So now if my kids break yet another headset, I can still hear all you whining about how good I am at video games. |
