It definitely makes me feel less crazy for spending the past 6 years talking about how talented he is.

Come to think of it, most of the core of our Champ teams had that same mix. Cain,Sal,Hoz,Moose,Gordon,Alcides - all high ceiling/high floor. Mostly with defense but in the case of Gordon + Sal, it was their bat that was supposedly the max tool (and not their gloves, which turned out wrong - but that meant they were perennial AS talents) Now? Lots of mid ceiling/low floors. Dozier, OHearn, Soler, Boni, Cuthbert, on and on. If their bats don't pan out they're worthless. If their bats are actually BAD, you get negative WAR dudes. Not sure how to reverse this. |

I think his bat was pretty advanced, and they were playing Myers at C until they moved him to advance him faster Sal hit like 327 his first cup of coffee in 2010 or 2011. His defense then went into hyperdrive |

Mondesi is playing like a star. Just hit another absolute bomb. He has the chance to be a legit 5 tool guy. He's about to post 10 HR/30 SB in half a season.

And Denny of course barely registered a pulse.
Look, I get that in the grand scheme the result is meaningless, but c’mon |
