Chiefs are planning to retain Romeo Crennel and remove interim tag

Chiefs are planning to retain Romeo Crennel and remove interim tag from his title. Move would be popular in the locker room.

Yay to mediocrity. Cheers!
I know its a small sample size, but how many bad challenges did he try in our last three games?

In only 3 games, I already remember he challenged a Carr interception in the end zone that wasn't even remotely close.

I've watched plenty of Browns games with my friends from Ohio. They're right. Romeo's challenge record is really, really bad.

I have 2 friends that are Browns fans, and while they both laughed and said good luck, they also mentioned the Chiefs are more talented. Maybe that'll help.

I'm sick of hearing Browns fans saying what Romeo is. He can change, and learn and besides the people around him are different. I don't think we can accurately say what Romeo will be next year based on what happened with the Browns.

So by his standard here 5-7 a season? That record is pretty low. I would think it would be higher

This.

From the 3 games we've seen he's already leaps and bounds a better game day coach than Haley.

ReT0dd never did seem able to manage clock, T0's, or when to/not to go for it on 4th...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It was a joke. But yeah, they confirmed that its one of many examples of poor game management.

Leaps and bounds?

A couple of poor challenges and multiple issues with 12 men on the field on defense say different.

I'm happy for Crennel, but unless he has strong OC/DC hirings, it won't matter.
