Just FYI, I think it was catcher interference not a hit batter. Been listening while I'm working.

So I'll share these highly encouraging tweets instead:




Almonte has a good fastball and changeup combo that many I've talked to think could land him in an MLB pen tomorrow and lead to a high level of success. The curve is what will make or break him. I've heard encouraging things since last year on it, comparing it favorably to Ventura's. If he continues to develop that, you're talking about three potential plus offerings. That's a nice repertoire.

And then there's this...




Velo probably popping up due to the short outing, but reports have always been that he sits comfortably at 92-94 and maintains that velocity. Nice to be able to reach back for his occasionally, though.
