To be the Notre Dame of college basketball, they would have had to have won something at some point. More like the Oregon of college basketball. All the hype, none of the hardware(championship kind).

Like always, the college game is mindboggling.

The UT team that almost beat KU in AFH won the following conference games.

Austin:
Tech
TCU
WVU

Road:
TCU
Tech
KSU

Remaining games:
vs Baylor
vs KSU

Road losses:
Okie State
ISU
Baylor
OU
WVU
KU

Home Losses:
OU
KU
Okie State
ISU

How can that team we watched yesterday lose THAT MANY conference games? Jebus.

Probably because with 10 seconds left, down 2, their only play they could draw up was an out of control PG going 1-on-5 and spinning his way through the lane for an acrobatic scoop shot. When they'd just hit their previous two 3s and who had the size to throw it into the post. Barnes really needs to go.

Not sure how whom I am a fan of is relevant to the comment?

You have the supposed #2 team in the country and a historic program like Syracuse, combining for 43 points in one half of basketball. Ridiculous.

This is just one reason why many people think college basketball is a garbage product now. The declining TV ratings would also seem to back that up.

Not a fun sport to watch, with the exception being the first couple weekends in March. Hopefully the whistle blowers don't **** that up too . . . . .
