They can bully them all they like but at the end of the day, 3 points > 2. So unless they get some shooters, they can't compete with either the warriors or the rockets.

Of course they all want to win. They’re athletes whose whole lives have been about getting to the point they’re at now. Once in a while stacking is fine. One last chance to get a ring or what-have-you. It’s always been like that, in every league. One more piece to push a team over the top. Now it’s the top players, in their primes, stacking themselves on a few teams. There is 0 disparity in the NBA. Makes the regular season pointless where teams mail it in before the first tip off is even thrown up. Any objective fan would have told you the finals would be GS - CLE before last season even started. Knowing the outcome of a season before it’s even played makes makes the league stale.

Hard to say until the dust settles, but Boston looks like a sure thing out of the East barring Philly making some big moves. Houston/GSW out of the West.

It’s a bit more difficult this year, lots of the top talent are going bitch route and stacking on certain teams. It’ll either be GS/HOU/LAL for the West (only variable is major injuries). Nobody is really stacking on the East but it will almost assuredly be BOS/TOR. How boring is that? 30 teams and before the season starts: 84% are pretty much guaranteed to not be in the finals.
