I've been "out" as a Dick Tracy admirer for years. This is not new information.

Yes, the Nightcrawler scene in X2 was complete awesomeness.

**** yeah it was. And then they just completely abandoned that awesome shit. Nightcrawler was a personal favorite of mine, and beyond that scene there was little to show the potential of how cool he was. They pretty much ended with him and his adorable crush on Mystique. Then nothing. So disappointing.

Yeah, that was totally inexplicable. Did no one on the production crew watch that on the cutting table and think they should include more of that badass mother****er?!?

Meanwhile they decided to neuter Cyclops and focus an entire movie on Rogue. Also took them three movies and a spinoff to get Gambit on-screen. So bad.

Basically like how Quicksilver had the best scene in DoFP and is never heard from again.

Finally got to see this last night. Damn good movie.

Spiderman and Black Panther were the obvious highlights of the movie. Little disappointed in Vision doing pretty much nothing throughout the movie.

I've thought about this after the fact. Vision was distracted by Wanda because he loves her but doesn't realize it yet. He is having a hard time processing these "feelings" and his head isn't in the game. I do believe Vision and Scarlet Witch are (or were) married in the comics.

Plus, Vision is such a heavy hitter, especially with possessing an Infinity Stone, that they had to make him like that or else the movie would have been about 20 minutes long.

Scarlet Witch got her powers from the infinity gem in his head so maybe that's why she seemed to have some control over him.

I started it last night but couldn't finish it. I guess Marvel films just don't speak to me, as I've tried to like every one of them, with no avail, other than the Winter Soldier (and Ultron was better than expected).

It'll give this another shot but the first 45 minutes were just so boring and procedural. My 8 year old tried watching with me and was bored so she went to bed (no school today).

I did, however, watch most of Deadpool Saturday night (before dozing off) and I really, really enjoyed it. I'll probably get to the rest of it next weekend but I didn't fall asleep from boredom but it being 12am after a long day.
