Small things in life that gravel your ass

What are some things in life that are really not that big of a deal in the big picture, but just piss you off?

My example of the day:

The dogs were barking at something today out in the alley, so I went outside to find out what the hell was going on. Some Slippery Larry contractor was back there unloading a bunch of shit into my city garbage container.

Me: Hey there strokestick, are you my new neighbor or something?

Slippery Larry: No

Me: Yeah, I knew that, then why are you dumping your crap out into my garbage container? I have plans to clean out the garage and am going to need the space.

Slippery Larry: I don't know.

Me: Do you live in a house, do YOU have a garbage container?

Slippery Larry: Yes, but it's full, so I'm dumping it in here.

Me: No, no you're not, try the city dump. Don't let me ever catch you back here pulling the bullshit again, or we are going to have a big problem.

At that point, he high tailed it out of there.

Like I said, it wasn't like the guy was back there trying to break into my shop, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

To further my point: the closer you can get to Michael Crawford, the original Phantom, the better.

So when you put a guy who sounds like Darth Vader out there, you completely ****ing ruin the play for me.

As soon as I heard that guy sing tonight the whole thing was ****ed up for me.

This is the Phantom:

This is NOT

I'm a pretty impatient person anyways....but it drives me nuts when a cashier can't complete my transaction because they are trying to multitask, or they've been asked a question by a coworker, and they decide to interrupt my transaction to answer the coworkers question. This seems to happen a lot lately for some reason.

JFC this is Crawford years after his prime.

Just cast English guys as The Phantom and be done with it. You have to sound british to be the Phantom. PERIOD.

I have strange pet peeves. I can't stand it when somebody is eating something crunchy when I am not. I'll make them turn on a radio or something to drown out that noise. Most of my other pet peeves are courtesy related. For instance, I will ALWAYS switch into the left lane at a traffic light if I'm going straight to allow the people behind me to turn right. If there is heavy traffic, I don't get too worried about it. But if it's me and some other douchebag on the road, he will ALWAYS be in front of me in the right lane while I'm sitting through the light waiting to turn right. Most people are completely oblivious to the little things.
I have a similar one. When I'm waiting forever to make a left turn and finally only one more car coming from the left and I can go. Every ****ing time he ends up making a left turn where I am at, so I have to wait, then of course by then there is traffic coming from both ****ing directions again. I hate that asshole and want to flip him off everytime even though it's not their fault

So you can't extend common courtesy to an elderly neighbor and let him use your dumpster, something that you wouldn't even notice 9 times out of 10 if the dumpster was large enough....but you'll go out of your way for complete strangers who don't give a shit if you switch lanes....

I'm sitting in a mall, and the guy opposite me is moving his head as he reads, so I can tell where he's at on the page and on each line in the page. I find that more curious than annoying. What's mildly annoying is when people move their lips as they read, but I can generally look away if I see it so it's not a huge issue.

This is unlike people who don't eat peanuts properly, which compels me to stare as I try to understand their strange ways.
