I just finished watching the SciFi stream of "Six of One" and all I can say is holy fucking shit.

(Well, I can also say "naked boomer", but I digress)

It's a dramatic episode, almost zero action, but man oh man are we going to have a lot to talk about after everybody watches this one.

Okay, we get it. You think the new BSG sucks. Fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, no matter how moronic. Now go away please and let the fans of the new show discuss it.

They stream a new episode each Friday at noon eastern. It's a one-time thing only; they don't repeat it, there's no pausing or rewinding.

Huh. Well, what's next? A cylon mutiny, Lee gone from Galactica, Starbuck gone from everywhere, Cali getting blown out an airlock next week (potentially) and Baltar is banging yet another cylon (Tori is ****ing hot, btw).

They sure are setting it up as Baltar being the fifth, with Six "guiding" him all this time, and now he's talking to "himself" (and I haven't forgotten where he's gotten into the mind of Six in past episodes). The problem with that, along with Starbuck being the fifth, imo, is that they're both way too obvious to be serious choices. Maybe the fifth is already there, with the cylons. Kind of like how Boomer voted against the Eights, maybe there is one of the other models who represents the fifth.

No idea, but all I know is that I am going to love this season.

Tonight's episode rocked. It seems like they just took all the storylines, put them in a blender with the lid off and hit puree.

One thing - did Lee and Dualla get divorced? I must have missed that. Their parting and some of the banter certainly had an element of "happy trails, babs" to it.

I didn't fully get that part either. I thought they were doing well last I knew. He was still wearing his ring though, I looked for that after their convo.

I'm going to watch it this morning after I get done at the grocery. I noticed as I was going to bed last night that the early BSG didn't record (along with everything else I had set in my DVR - fucking TWC) so I manually set it to record the late one. Hopefully it did.

I'll be pissed if it didn't. I thought this was one of the best eps yet when I was watching it in the 6 in x 3 in window on my monitor. I'd kind of like to see it on an actual TV...

Hello Everyone,

Starting to watch BSG after the two hour movie showed this past winter. Great show.

So please bring me up to speed.

What happened to the Pegagus?

Who created the Cyclons?

I assume the "missing" 6 cyclons model are aboard the battlestar. How could that be?

How exactly did Baltar heal the boy?

How could the six all survive the war so far?

I'll answer the questions, but I'll also advise you not to read those answers and instead try to find a way to see the first 3 seasons on DVD if you can. It's a lot more fun that way.

Read on at your own peril (select the text to see the answers)...

It was destroyed during the escape from New Caprica early in season 3, taking 2 Cylon Baseships with it.

No idea. "The Cylons were created by man" is all we've been told to this point. There's a possible spinoff series called "Caprica" that appears to answer that question, but nothing has been revealed on the series that's on the air now, at least not so far.

It's 5, and, yes, 4 of them are aboard Galactica. We don't know how that happened, or why, and we don't know who the 5th is.

No idea on that either. We've only known they were cylons for 3 episodes, so those of us who've watched the series from the beginning are just as in the dark as you are...

I think it's a terrific show, hopefully you continue to enjoy it.

Thank you for the great answers.

So the Pegagus was destroyed just like in the first series. What episode did that occur?

I wonder how they repair and replace the Vipers.

Earth is several hundred years behind in technology. How is it going to help with the Cyclons on their tails?

thanks again.

IIRC, they called it a marriage at the end of last season when Lee was pretty busted up over Starbuck. Nothing against Dualla, but after you get screwed by Starbuck, you stay screwed.

I'd have to concur with that analogy. Kara certainly isn't the prettiest girl in the fleet, but there's just something about her. And the way she screams, claws and bites.
