You know what else DeRozan did well if you pay attention to that video, watch him make good use of the space given to him in the paint and do pull-up jumpers. Watch him drive to the basket and cause fouls. Watch him do some nice fade aways too.

Do you really believe that a bad field goal percentage defines you as a "bad" player? Isn't there more to basketball then just shooting the ball? You know shooting isn't everything right?

You know that a good player will help his team win in other ways and will show up in big games and make big plays right? And that's exactly what DeRozan did. Don't let KCC cognitive distorted way of thinking in negative filtering convince you otherwise. Don't be stupid or gullable to fall for that. A good evaluator of any sport sees the big picture moreso than being a narrow minded fool.

What I saw last night was DeRozan chucking up 32 shots and he shouldn't have attempted half of those. Even the announcers were saying he was ignoring his teammates and just throwing up everything. I don't know if he does that all the time but last night was embarrassing.

Without Derozan that team isn't a 2 seed.

So, pretty sure OKC will be lucky to win one game against the Spurs, but maybe the Spurs get a little lackadaisical after their 40 point thumping given to OKC in game 1 and come out flat. OKC HAS to win game 2 in SA to have any shot at winning this series, gain some momentum and see what happens from there.

San Antonio is a well coached, oiled machine. Methodical, talented, understand spacing and what a good shot actually is. Oklahoma City does not, sad to say.

No clue what you are talking about. Spurs are one of the best teams the NBA has seen in decades. They would have been the best team if the decade if it wasnt for the Warriors. And the Spurs best two players are in their prime, Aldridge and Leonard. I wish OKC has a shot, but its a long shot.

I am not seeing much difference in OKC without Brooks. It is basically one pass (maybe) and shoot. And OKC started off so hot and had SA on the ropes but let them back in the game. If they don't win this game I think they will be lucky to win 1 game and Durant will be gone IMHO.

their best players are 40,38,33 years old.

they already should be cycling down if this were real.

You're right. They would have won at least one more game and been a one seed instead. He's an awful, inefficient one-way player who takes shots away from better players.

Anybody who watches DeRozan with any basketball sense or knowledge at all can recognize this. He honestly seems to think he's Kobe Bryant (although he doesn't play defense and never has), but does not have the talent or skill to play like him. It's stunning how overrated he is. Perhaps the worst thing about it, though, is that the coaching stuff does nothing to stop him.

I saw earlier today on ESPN's site they were touting DeRozan as leading the Raptors to the win. I don't think they were watching the same game as us especially when the announcers are criticizing him for ignoring his teammates. Yeah he had 30 points but he took a gillion shots and a half a dozen of them didn't even hit the rim.

Yep, he's been called the hero all day in Toronto media too. The fact that he played a horrendous basketball game doesn't seem to matter at all.

You can see just how hopeless a situation it really is for the Raptors. The media/fans cluelessly love him (see Bricks) and the organization is too afraid to get rid of him for that reason. They're going to be stuck with this guy for five years at a max salary as a result and he's going to hold the team back for that entire time. I've never seen anything quite like it.

The Spurs don't look good at all tonight. The defense just hasn't been there. OKC is about to be in the driver's seat in this series if this lasts another quarter.
