Cap: "No killing, Buck".
Bucky then smashes someone's head into the wall Gregor Clegane style and then crushes another dude's chest with a cinder block. .

I'm not crazy about that one. Great makeup effects though. The four noir-ish Dick Tracy movies form the mid 40s starring Ralph Byrd and Morgan Conway were interesting B movies. Cool villains (Boris Karloff, Jack Lambert, and Mike Mazurki) and a bit of shadowy lighting and you had a fun way to kill an hour. Unfortunately, the parts of the movies that actually focused on Dick Tracy tended to be the weakest sections of the movies. |

Blade 1 and 2 still hold up

Anyone tried watching the first X Men lately? Good God. That movie aged like milk.

I give it credit for setting the modern tone and respecting it's source material. Most comic book movies before it were always based kind of cheesey and corniness Instead of being serious.

Blah. Sabertooth and Wolverine didn't even know each other in that one. That was unforgivable. Also: "Do you know what happens to a toad that gets struck by lightning?" |

True, but there really were no good comic book movies out back then. Now I feel like we've become spoiled. I'm waiting for it all to fall apart. Back then, X-Men was a muddy glass of water in the desert. I drank it and I loved it.

Oh, I loved it too. Don't get me wrong.
I'm just saying. In retrospect, that movie was a piece of shit. |

Captain America Civil War
I still love Spiderman and Blade which were released right around that time period. It's just something about the effects of X Men maybe?
X2 still looks good today. I will say that. That opening scene with Nightcrawler at the White House is one of my favorite opening sequences ever. |

I hate agreeing with Deberg, but that movie won awards for makeup and set design. The actual movie and acting was horrible.
