Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

But, at the end of the day, none of us know shit about any of these guys. Russell in the 3rd round? Dak in the 4th? Goff #1 overall? Lolz. Can't get too worked up about prospects.

Exactly why I want to draft a prospect to find out for ourselves and not find out that they take the team that actually drafts them to the Super Bowl.

Find out for ourselves and Chiefs fans quit being God DAMNED COWARDS!!

Yes, that would suck.

But if it happened, I would thoroughly enjoy seeing Cowboy fans lose it

Why would Cowboy fans lose it or be upset? They got Prescott and the Cowboy fans I've talked too don't want another season of Romo except as a backup though.

I truly think Prescott is going to flop. That team was so dominant up front that we really have no idea what kind of QB he actually is. I will say, he played a hell of a playoff game ... he was not the reason they lost. I just don't actually think he's a true franchise guy. Maybe he'll surprise me. I think the jury is still out on him, though.

I would happily take Romo if it meant we don't have Alex starting, but I'm still on the "draft a QB" train.

I really can't take Alex's shit anymore...but hey 99.99% of us are at that point too

I'd take Romo and draft a guy first 50 picks. Romo shouldn't be anything more than a Montana bridge to our young guy.

He could be lightning in a bottle and that may just do it for them.

We could have used lightning in a bottle this year but we just had a dark cloud over hang.

you can't just pick out guys drafted in the 3rd and 4th and be like, "uh why didn't we draft them!?" Those guys were passed like 100 times. QB position is a total crapshoot from 1st pick to last pick in the NFL draft. Doesn't mean we shouldn't try, but it's not nearly as easy as some seem to think.

Oh well I believe a quarterback in the next two drafts will indeed take the team that drafts him to the Super Bowl it may take a few years or longer but it took Peyton what 9 years? So not taking one is a bigger risk imo and keeping the same other teams quarterback rehash is no fun at all when it's gotten us no where man.

Edit: ok 6 years

Maclin had a tough year but I don't think it had anything to do with ability.

Tyreek is literally Antonio Brown. We need a QB that can utilize Antonio Brown. Alex Smith is not that guy. I imagine Kelce, Tyreek and Maclin with Romo and ... we're suddenly an elite offense.

Everyone has always underestimated Tony Romo because of their built in hate and bias towards Dallas. Romo has been great for years.

Dallas sticking with Prescott week 12 or so was a TERRIBLE decision. I knew they were doomed as soon as they stuck with Prescott, who is vastly overrated because of his line and that running game. If they truly wanted to win a Super Bowl this year ... they would have gone back to Romo.
No mention of our O line? Romo couldnt stay healthy with with very good offensive line he would be dead to rights in the second week with ours. Retain Foles get a bag of chips for Smith and draft a QB or two.

I can see Da Bears making a nice bid for Tony Romo them of all teams need to rid their cancerous quarterback tumor Jay Cutler. All he does is get coaches fired but hey if that's their thing and the GM & or owner like Jay Cutler then I feel for their fans.
