Okay, so rumor is they are trying to trade him now.

Obviously our #3 played very well. If Chase gets traded to a QB needy team for 2nd or 3rd, what are your thoughts on bringing RG3 in as our backup for a late round pick (6th, 7th)?

Is he salvageable, or did the Redskins ruin him?

Well here is the issue. If you look at number 66, that is Brandon Scherff. The guy they took to be their right tackle as a top 10 pick. They have already decided he CANT play tackle at the NFL level and kicked him inside to guard. Number 76 is Morgan Moses a second year player out of Virginia who never played the right side before this year.


Yeah, no matter who plays qb is screwed.

The best place IMO for RGIII trade would actually be Denver. He did pretty good in Shanrat's offense and with Kubiak same offense in place. No pressure to play this year at all with Pey Pey still in place. RGIII upside is higher than Osweiler. Better run organization, more stability. Probably a move that would **** the Chiefs for next decade but the Broncos will somehow do that anyways.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Redskins are not trying to trade Robert Griffin III.
La Canfora confirmed ESPN's report the team was informed Kirk Cousins would be the Week 1 starter, but he denied the team was actively trying to trade Griffin. Despite the lack of trade talk, La Canfora called Griffin's future with the organization "murky at best." Griffin's $16.155 million 2016 option is only guaranteed for injury, so it would be in the Redskins' best interests to keep him out of harm's way this season.

I don't disagree.... good fit long-term for what Kubiak wants to do. However, that price tag won't work and he may be damaged goods at this point, sadly. He is fun to watch when healthy and has a great throw.

I'm really disappointed in RG. I loved watching him at Baylor. The guy made that program relavent again.
His attitude, health issues and shitty work ethics from day one really killed what could've been a great career.
