Only Clark can answer that. And the thought of that frightens me a little....

Do they get Jim Johnson's defense too? Because without it Andy Reid and his pass heavy offense was pretty much a failure. Chief fans - Brace yourself for mediocre QB play and Jamaal Charles being criminally underutilized. Learn the word 'Alexcuses' |

Personally, I think the decision was made before the hire was made, in the 9 hour meeting Clark had with Andy Reid. I don't think there was any chance that we were ever going to draft a quarterback, and I don't think that has to have any reflection of any kind on this draft class. I think they were always risk-averse, because I think they see the clock is ticking on the best players on this roster, and I think they were always going this direction. Quote:

At this point, I would be again, surprised, if he allowed this team to flounder. |

Yep. I do. This means they don't like Geno. In that case, they've taken the only real starting caliber QB that was going to be available. Let's see where they go from here. |

So saying that it was the worst pick in franchise history, they would have been better off taking any QB right, even a flyer? Agreed? Now that they have nobody picking in front of them, with a HC and GM with a clean slate, AGAIN, they are trading for another Cassel and will probably be taking another "safe" fatty with the first overall. But you are ok with that, and think once this guy fails (16-0 so far), that Reid will be given a chance to draft and develop a rookie QB? Seriously? |
