I wasn't expecting DAT to re-sign. I think with this, the only change to the WR group is -Wilson +Watkins? What does that mean for a drafted WR, the Chiefs would carry an extra WR on the roster or someone would have to go to the practice squad?

I personally believe the Chiefs will be after a real slot WR, so maybe they move Chesson to the practice squad? Also, they could cut DAT at camp so nothing is certain yet. Especially as we don't know how Conley's injury is coming along either.

Luke Joeckel and Jonathan Cooper are two guys I’d keep an eye on. Cooper had recent surgery on his MCL, but should be ready for camp. Joeckel missed time late in the season for the Seahawks but arguably was their best lineman - he had a nice comeback season.
Either can be had for probably less than what Fulton got.

Gotta keep the Ferrari clean.
We have a genuine shot at Will Hernandez in the draft

I think they legit expect to play eringer there he started as a rookie and had a serious injury that kept him from being cleared until into the season. A full off season back with the trainers and they'll expect him back at 100 percent.

Veach said in a presser after the trade they saw him more as a tackle in the draft if I'm not mistaken. I think they'll try to slim him down with good weight and be the new Jah reid swing guy.

From the star-
But Veach believes there were other reasons for Erving’s struggles, too, some that were out of his control. For one, he essentially struck a line through Erving’s rookie year, when Veach believes he was miscast as a guard, where squattier defenders could consistently get leverage on him due to his long arms.

Guard, by the way, was a position he hardly played at Florida State, where he started 37 games at left tackle and five at center.

A lot of players aren't going to want to play for an organization that has a crazy owner and serious questions if Luck can even play right now...

They were considered favorites for Robinson and Hitchens 3 days ago and I don't think either player even talked to them.

With these shorter contracts, I think we’ll see a lot of players/agents caring more about the situations they’re going into. That way they have a better shot at getting one more nice contract.

Still, though... Need potentially a couple WRs, a RB, a handful of OL, and that's not even considering the possibility that Luck is FUBAR.

The Luck stuff is really hurting them, and Ballard probably doesn't want to overpay dudes by 30% to get them. So they're just losing out, gonna have to draft extremely well otherwise...terrible.
